WELCOME TO NORFOLK SOLAR

who we are

Norfolk Solar is a small independent organisation providing:

design, supply and installation services throughout Norfolk and north Suffolk
advisory and consultancy services to residential customers and commercial organisations
training services in partnership with leading environmental and technical institutions, providing a range of training and education services from public information workshops and day courses to advanced solar training for plumbing and heating professionals.

Our team consists of qualified and time-served plumbing and heating technicians with specific skills relating to domestic gas, electrical, roofing and of course solar thermal energy.

The organisation was founded in 2002 and remains wholly owned by Lee Rose. Lee is a domestic solar thermal specialist, and regularly teaches on solar training courses at LILI, BroadSol and the Centre for Alternative Technology. He has also worked closely with Logic Certification to develop their DTI recognised solar domestic hot water training course for plumbing and heating engineers, and has been involved in a number of publications, papers and articles on the subject.

Norfolk Solar is unlike other renewable energy organisations. Whilst it is important for every organisation to generate profits in order to remain economically sustainable, we have a particular interest in sustaining issues much larger than Norfolk Solar itself and believe our products and services have the potential to deliver far greater benefits to issues facing the positive development of the renewable energy industry, our regional and global environment, and the local community we live in.
